Fruit beer question

Was planning to brew a fruit beer. Instead of adding purree to the secondary fermenter we decided to buy fruit concentrate (adding less to fermeter). While experimenting with the concentrate, we added a millileter to a beer as a flavor test. After adding it we expected it to darken, but it also got muddy and cloudy. The puree has juice + pieces of fruit, which has the same properties as the concentrate. This is my first rodeo with adding fruit to the fermenter. Will the beer clear up if we add the concentrate, or will it ruin it.?

It won’t ruin it, but it might be slightly cloudy. Using fruit, whether fresh or puree or concentrate, is always a little tricky. The beers aren’t terribly stable since you are introducing more sugars and you’ll see refermentation even in secondary.
