Flavoring additives

What have people added during fermentation to give their cider an extra kick? I was thinking of trying cinnamon, but wanted to see what others have had success with.

Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Vanilla Bean, All Spice, Ginger. Just be careful not to add to much. I would start off with smaller amounts for your first attempt so you don’t make it undrinkable.
(I would also not add all of those at once). Maybe try out different batches with different spices.

Spices can easily be overdone and you will need to constantly monitor it. Also, the quality of spices vary greatly so the amounts needed will vary as well.

Will do. I have just purchased a 1 gallon jug just for experimentation with different flavors. This should keep me from ruining large batches and enable quick turnaround.
