I kegged an Irish Blond Ale on March 19. I put gelatin in the keg to help clear it. I never really noticed that the first pint or 2 were particularly cloudy but they were kind of over carbed and foamy so I may have just missed it.
From what I can tell it’s down to the last couple of pints now. I just drew one and it was VERY cloudy and dark. Tasted OK but had almost a green cast to it like I was now drawing out hop residue or something.
Any idea why I’d be seeing this on the last few pints of a keg? I’ve finished off kegs of Innkeeper and Irish Red Ale and didn’t get this effect.
