Determining gravity

recently made the N.B. Honey Wiezen and forgot to add the honey before gravity reading, so I boiled a qt of wter and added the honey (1#) and added the yeast forgetting to take a gravity reading once again. Is there a way to determinr the gravity points added from the first reading. the first was 1.030. I am guessing it is somewhere around 1.040? the that sound accurate? Thanks in advance,

Honey has 35 gravity points per pound per gallon. So assuming you have about 5 gallons, that’s 7 points you added, which would get you to 1.037.
