I am contemplating a SMaSH barleywine/Triple IPA with Columbus and Rahr Pale Malt. Can this yeast handle a 11% alcohol environment? Anyone with experience?

Yep, no problem. I have used it for BW many times. Just make sure you have a large, healthy starter.
