I didn’t post for a long time (new baby in the house) and my account got deactivated. Is there any chance of getting it deactivated or is it just gone?
The reason I care about accessing my old account is to view my post history.

Go to the Board Update and send rsodman a PM and I’m sure they will reinstate you.
I had sent him a PM a week or so ago suggesting that they go ahead and remove accounts that hadn’t posted it over 5 years so those names could be reused.
I then added that I know that three of them won’t be back, if they do then I’ll know there is hope, as they have passed on.
He said that he had done that but if some one came back he would make there old account available.

I lost a very good friend when he left us along with Brew Rat I looked forward to them coming over or me going there.
