If I want to make a 1 or 2 gallon batch of something that’s not available in a kit, can I assume the ingredient quantities scale down from a 5 gallon recipe proportionately?
yup
so for a 2 gallon batch
2 divided by 5 = .4
multiply all the ingredients by .4, and that will be your recipe
