Has anyone used a double lever or gilda single lever corker to cork Belgian-style beer bottles. I am just getting started and due to start up costs I need to stay economical with the corker. I keep seeing the recomendation for a floor corker but I’m not about to drop $80. With the double lever there is no iris to compress the cork, but is it absolutely necessary? The gilda single lever does have an iris but appears more cumbersome, I had thought that both had adjustable depths but I’m not seeing that on the gilda model that NH offers… Anyones experience is greatly appreciated.
