I recently bought a new 3 gal keg (ball lock) and my system is pin lock. I use the MFL disconnects so I bought ball lock ones to use on the new keg. I can’t get the disconnects to connect. So I replaced the ball lock posts with pin lock. I have pressurized the keg and everything is holding. I have been told that this can’t be done. Anyone with knowledge on this please reply. Thanks
It all really depends on the thread size of the keg. If the threading is the same then yes you can do it. It appears they were.
