Brewed my first Porter on Sunday from an extract kit. OG was spot on. Working of nicely at this point. Anyone got some pointers they’ve learned on these?
Porters do seem to take a little extra time to mellow out. So, leave her in the fermenter for a full 3 weeks. And, if you bottle, give those a good 3 weeks as well.
But, the wait is worth it. Love me some porter… :cheers:
