Has anybody used the Brewcraft 30 liter fermenter? I just purchased one for a batch of wine and noticed there is no seal around the lid. I can’t press the lid done to snap it in place. Does this lid just sit on top with the airlock in place, or do you have to pound the lid down to create a good seal?
You don’t pound but you do push it on in one spot and work your way around until it snaps shut. Sounds like it has a tight seal which is good. Some buckets don’t seal as well and sometimes the airlocks won’t bubble.
