Refractometer does not read correctly in the presence of alcohol. You need to apply a correction factor to get correct gravity. Look for a “tool” in your software.
Refractometer is great for brew day…
A finishing hydrometer is great for ending gravity… Brewing America has a very nice set up… and uses less brew!

I’ve had us-04 take a long time to finish 3 weeks minimum
I did not know of the refractometer calculator. After finding the calculator, my reading was 1.013. Thanks Rburrelli. I am going to test wed . I have been doing a gentle swirling. Use that yeast.
Phew big relief. Refractometer is one of my favorite tools but I don’t use it for FG
I finished out with a FG of 1.013. I kegged it with 15 lbs of pressure taking out the oxygen with CO2. I am going to give it a shake now again. Low and slow.
I did use the brix calculator with the OG and the FG. The OG with brix was 1.063 and the FG with the brix just under 1.035.
I suspect you used “Specific Gravity”… Brix would’ve read something 1.015… finished about 1.003…
