Thought I’d share my method of reducing the likelyhood of errors by adding things at the wrong time. First thing I do is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS from start to finish. Once I read them, I take my ingredients and label them for their specific addition times. Doing this has saved mistakes for me, including this particular batch. Anyway, thought it may help.

I do the same thing…clear off the entire kitchen table and line things up. :slight_smile:

I do something similar with my hops. I have 5 cups which are numbered 1 thru 5 and my hop additions are labeled 1 thru 5 on my brewing spreadsheet. That way, I measure out the hops one time and they are ready to go without getting mixed up.
