Just buying a 10g pot and want to know how to connect tubing from the pot to my fermentor and can’t get any real clear info. It sits up high so I just need to connect a tube for gravity.
Can I pickup something from lowes or home depot to screw into it to attach the (1/2 I think) tube?

I’ve got the 10 gallon boilermaker and have a brass barb, but I’ve since read you might be better off with stainless steel.
Yeah that looks about right! Thanks… do you have to put pipe thread tape on it or just metal to metal? If it’s 1/2" I might look around the stores later tonight and see if I can find something.
its unlikely that you’ll find them in SS down here at Lowes’ or HD.
yes, definitely use pipe tape.

+1 on the pipe tape otherwise it will leak or you will seize the threads on SS.
