I don’t use my Better Bottle all that much except when I do a double
batch or two batches close to each other and tomorrow is a double batch.
While
cleaning it today I noticed a crack developing in the inside. You
can’t feel it at all on the outside but and only slightly on the inside
but I think it’s going to be trouble soon.
I filled it with water
and it did not leak so I’m going to use this tomorrow than likely trash
it.
Anyone have a BB and run into this?

Well I am going to use it tomorrow for probably the last time but it’s held water all day so…
I’d be sure to have some strong sanitizer in it for a while… Just in case some creeping crud set up house in there… Mine looked good yet… Sneezles61

So I realized I can fit my Speidel in my fermenting fridge with my SS Brewtech and thought tight, it works so I’ll just trash the BB and order another one to have around. My concern is that the crack inside is not wide but maybe wide enough that some bad guys could live there and I guess I’m just too OCD to take the chance I said I would.
Time to brew!
