Best Lager Recipe / Is All Grain Necessary?

If you have the time, please share your favorite lager recipe?

Also, is all grain (versus a more simpler extract recipe) a necessity to produce the best possible pilsner style lager?

5 gallons (19 L)
9.25 lb. (4.2 kg) German Pilsner malt
1.0 oz. (28 g) Hallertau Tradition whole hops, 6% a.a. (60 minutes)
1.0 oz. (28 g) Tettnanger whole hops, 4.5% a.a. (30 minutes)
1.0 oz. (28 g) Hallertau Mittelfrüh whole hops, 4.5% a.a. (20 minutes)
2.0 oz. (57 g) Saaz whole hops, 4.3% a.a. (10 minutes)
German lager yeast

Original Gravity: 1.053
IBU: 51
SRM: 3
Boil Time: 90 minutes
Efficiency: 75%

If the light color is important than you may need to all-grain. Extracts tend to darken
