What is the difference between a ball lock and a pin lock keg and is one better than the other? Also what size co2 cylinder should I get for one possibly two 5 gallon kegs? Thanks in advance!
Ball lock kegs are more narrow but taller. Pin locks are shorter but wider. The connections are different but if you use a 1/4" swivel nut switching between ball and pin lock kegs is easy.
As far as a CO2 tank it depends on what you plan on doing with it. 5lbs is fine for carbing and serving. Go 10 or 20 lbs if you plan on storing it outside of the kegerator.
