Bacon Red ale (kegging)

I selected this beer for our towns st patricks day parade where my wife and I have a pre game kegs and eggs get together. I stared the fermentation a couple days ago. The recipe calls for 2 weeks fermenting and 2 weeks bottle conditioned. Im kegging the brew and the day of the party is 3 days before the brew would be 4 weeks old. Since im kegging it would it be ok to leave it in the fermenter until the day before the party or would I be better off putting it into the keg after 2 weeks of fermentation and rolling the dice that the flavor will be settled down enough after a week in a half of sitting in the keg? All advice greatly appreciated!

It would be fine sitting in the primary that long, but I would prefer to keg it sooner and let keg cold condition for a few weeks. Just my opinion.
