At what temp should I set my temp controller?

I’m planning on fermenting my first brew inside a spare fridge using an external temperature controller. It’s a small-ish fridge, maybe 13 cubic feet.

So, for those of you who have experience: If I want to ferment my wort at 64 or so, at what temperature should I set the controller? I’m planning on taping the temp controller probe to the fermenter with some insulation covering it.

If you are taping it to the fermenter with insulation, set it to 64*.

If you are leaving it to monitor the air temp, set it to 60*.

I find that to ferment at 64 in this manner I need to set it at 62.

But in all reality every fridge will be different. You’ll just need try yours out to see.
