Anchor Humming Ale

I came across this recipe for Anchor Humming Ale and was planning on brewing it. Any additonal thoughts/adjustments you would make to this recipe? Thanks!

Partial Mash

6.6 lbs Pale Malt Extract syrup
1.75 lbs Pale two row malt
0.5 lbs Cystal malt 40L
0.5 lbs Amber malt
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (60)
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (30)
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (10)
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (5)
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (1)
0.5 oz Nelson Sauvin (dry hop 5 days)
WY1272 American Ale II

Steep grains in 1 gallon water at 154 for 60 minutes. Sparge. Top up to 2.5 gallons. Bring to boil, add LME and hops according to schedule. Ferment in primary for two weeks. Rack to secondary. Five days before packaging, add dry hops.

How about some Nelson Sauvin? I kid because I care. Never had that beer, but it looks good. Damn I’m glad I’ve got 2 lbs of NS in store.

I’m personally not the biggest fan of that beer, but my palette just might be biased against NS. The other problem I have with that beer is that it seems overly acidic to me, but I suppose that’s part of the character. If you like that, brew on. If not, maybe consider adjusting pH upward a bit.
