Aluminum pot

wanting to get a new brew pot was thinking of aluminum any thoughts.

Aluminum is just fine. Many studies have proven that. The old bugaboo about aluminum and Alzheimers is complete bunk.

I just recently got a new brew kettle. I had thought about aluminum and cheap stainless, but in the end, I decided to just spend the money and get what I really wanted instead of something that would work for now. With proper care, it’s not like any of the choices will really wear out. I ended up spending the money on a stainless with a bulkhead fitting, I got it from Spike Brewing and now that I have it and have used it, I’m really glad I spent the money. It’s far nicer than my old brew pot and the price was very reasonable for what I got.

Not telling you what to do, just saying that it might be worth considering options and thinking about where you want to be in the future with brewing. In my case, I wanted the ability to do 10-12 gallon batches, which means that I needed a 15 gallon kettle with a bulkhead fitting.
