Adventure in Homebrewig

Did Adventure in Homebrewing buy out NB? This came today

I believe it’s the other way around. I think I posted something similar awhile back. Adventures in Homebrew bought Austin Homebrew Supply, then AIH got bought out by NB. Back in 2019 or close AB InBev sold NB to a place called Blackstreet Capital Holdings.

guess I wasn’t paying attention. Well anyway have been taking advantage of AIH 25% off everything with free shipping.

Oh I forgot to add, NB also bought out Midwest Supplies first, then the rest happened. I’ve purchased from AIH a few times. Have had a very positive experience. I could tell though that when NB bought them some of their selection dwindled.

well the 25% off storewide sale coupled with free shipping was the best. i kept going back like an addiction. got o good supply in. The UPS fellow is getting suspicious

hhhmmm.
A while ago I needed sumptin, and the shipping was way more than what I needed. So I didn’t buy. Now I’ll check them out again.

you need to spend $59 for free shipping. Have to watch for sales. I found a new site that has decent pricing but they are $75. Howdy Brewing. I just ordered a Chapman stainless brew bucket was $99 but they threw me a 10% plus free shipping so $95 delivered. Another thing is after I left stuff in my basket and left the site next day got an email with another discount code. More beer does the same thing. So hint always leave something in the cart

I get that, but sometimes you might need some… calcium chloride or O-rings and nothing else. So to ship it to me, about 2 hours north of them… 20.00? Then like you say, getting from somewhere else clear across the nation for 5.00 shipping…
Me just watching out for me. Stingy? (:

The SS brew bucket was a great purchase. Then a few mods and mine is priceless. My plastic buckets are out the door.

nah smart. I’m always using grain and I keep a running list so when I need a small item I’ll build out the order with grain or other ingredients.

I was thinking about modifying for pressure fermenting

I silver soldered a 2” tri-clover on my lid. I have 1/2” female adapter for it. I can put a threaded and barbed blow off tube to that. Swap it out for the 1/4” male gas adapter for cold crashing or racking out of the fermenter. Take the adapter off, and drop in hops. I can even drop my Tilt in into the fermenter through that. So versatile. All those add on parts I got from brewhardware in NJ.

If you need picts of my cover conversion and such, tell me

I was just going to put a 1 1/2 double hole bung in upside down with a tube attached to my spunding valve.
or use this on an extra Sankey keg
