What methods are used to get all extract from plastic jug? I put in hot water bath and swirl with hot water to get most of it out.
When I did extract that’s what I did. It got all the extract out. Kinda hot though. I used a silicon pot holder to prevent burns.

This is what I do too. Works great for me.
I use the warm bath, and then ladle wort into the jar, swirl and pour into the kettle. repeat until it’s empty.
Yep, I used the hot wort also to swish out the jug. The only problem I encountered with this method is that the pressure builds up when sealed. Just open slowly.
After it’s poured to a trickled I hold the jug in the hot wort with a thick rubber work glove. Lift it out about half full, swish it around, pour back in and repeat till you get every last drop. When I’m done the containers look like new.

After pouring into the water, I totally submerge the container into the brew kettle with a pair of long tongs. That way you get 100% of the extract.
