Active secondary

3 weeks ago, I brewed a Wells Bombardier clone. My OG was 1.079. last saturday, I racked it to secondary, the gravity was 1.020, and it appeared as if the fermentation was over.

I was planning on bottling it tomorrow, but this morning, I noticed there is airlock activity, and a slight bit of kraussen.

What could cause this new activity? Should I wait to bottle? I was planning to check the gravity in the morning.

It could very well just be CO2 coming out if solution. The only way to know is to check the gravity.

That makes sense. I’ll check gravity in the morning.
