Kind of restating some of what was said earlier and some other thoughts. Maybe NB was a test for them. They found out it didn’t fit their model and they realized that hombrew/craft brew has spun up into a force they can’t overcome. To combat craft beer the big guys have come up with some options for the “fancy” beer drinkers in their legions that may be leaning toward craft. As for the homebrew scene, it’s a little faddy and the cycle might be turning down but there is still lots of market out there. NB may have gotten a touch too big riding the fad along and that along with increased competition has to make things a little shaky but I think they’ll respond and figure out who they are. Blackstreet may just be their rich uncle to get them through the transition.
