Trying to do some scheduling and some of the beers on my list use harder to find hops that many suppliers are currently out of. I’ve never paid much attention so don’t have a sense of this. Do others have some experience for when we will begin seeing the 2011 crop in stores. Domestic? Imported?
Leaf hops could be hitting pretty soon. Fresh Hops has them on their site and Hops Direct says they’ll have them tomorrow. It will take a little longer to get into retail channels, of course.
Pellets will take longer due to the processing time. IIRC, they don’t hit retail until December/January. I’ve been loading up with bulk from Hops Direct and Fresh Hops the last few years though, so I haven’t paid as much attention.
