And good penetration.

I like your burner adjustment. Are you going to put a ring or gibs for your pot? Not something you want to knock off.

You’ll get a lifetime of use out of it when you’re done.

What, no catwalk or brewmonkey??

Thanks,

I plan on putting a wind deflector shroud, but I don’t know how thick of sheet I should get to be both bendy and still thick enough that I can weld it without burn through.

When you say rings or gibs are you talking about something to keep the pot in place or center? I thought about welding some tabs to keep the pot from moving to much, but If I upgrade to a larger pot I don’t want to grind them off, so I’m leaving them off for now.

I have to run to the hardware store and get a 3/8" flare fitting for the “grill hose” quick connect I have. I wanted to test run it last night but couldn’t hook it up, maybe today!! I’ll pick up some sheet metal for a wind deflector of some kind.

Success!! I have boiling water! I think it took about 3 Gallons 10-15 min. to bring to a boil.

Thats without a wind deflector shroud and I’m down three tips on the 23 tip burner, and not to mention the 10’ 3/8" grill hose may be holding this thing back some.
