those glass jugs that are sold here ,1 ga, are slightly bigger than 1 ga,yes??

The glass one are crap. They only hold exactly 1 gallon so be prepared for major blowoff. I typically use mine as air locks.

They are 1.4 gallons and WAY easier to clean.
I got a two gallon food grade bucket and lid for around $4 from my local grocery store: the perfect size for a one gallon primary. Then use the one gallon jug for secondary or lagering.
