Yeast Starter as CO2 bioreactor for Aquascaping

As a life long aquarium owner I’ve decided to up my planted aquarium game. The professional Aquascapists use CO2 to promote plant growth.
I figure I waste all the CO2 that is a by product of my brewing hobby so why not utilize it.

The Yeast starter flask leads to a splitter where I can divert the flow from the tank or send it to a bubble counter with a diffuser that enters the tank. The plastic sphere is a CO2 monitor that turns green when optimal, blue when minimal CO2 and yellow when too much for the fish.
The plants are getting healthier since installing.

Oxygen pearls as a result of all the CO2 in the water

That is really cool. Does the oxygen dissolve into the water or just float to the top?

Both. When it hangs on like this on the plants the bubbles do slowly reduce in size. Here is a picture of the bubbles just streaming off of the plants. The yeast for this batch is for my next IPA.
