I am trying to come up with a safe water profile for an all grain ipa kit (dead ringer). I found one on -line and used beersmith to take my Poland Springs bottled water to the desired profile. All worked well but then the light went on... I noticed the volume in beersmith was set for 5 gal, and I assume I need to treat my starting boil volume (or more actually .... due to losses). So I guess I should plan on treating about 8 gallons... does that sound right?
