Now I’ve been expierimenting with Mead for a few years. After many different things I’ve found I prefer the Mead, dry aged and sparkly. I also enjoy putting in fruit. Just wondering if anyone has any experience making or drinking a sour Mead and is it a thing somewhere?
I did some Brett meads but they weren’t sour just weird

I at times add peaches or blackberries for about 3 to 4 weeks and it turned out fine
I always add fruit to mead. Straight honey mead is not to my liking. The orange citrus mead i made was a bit tart but not really sour.

I have tried sour cherries with honey, which turned out sweet but tangy.
