OK to Freeze?

Hi All

I heard it’s OK, but wanted to confirm… It’s OK to freeze freshly picked hops, right?
I want to preserve them for brewing later.

They’re normally dried first. If you freeze them while they’re fresh, the excess moisture can cause the cell walls to rupture when you thaw them and you can end up with green mush (like frozen & thawed lettuce). I like to dry them first.
