Last night I brought in two bottles of Dogfishhead 90 from the garage fridge. Sat down to watch TV with one when my wife comes in with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. We very rarely have ice cream.
Well it seemed like an unlikely pairing. Hoppy beer and vanilla? I figured if it came down to it, I could throw out the ice cream 
It wasn’t so bad. I guess if there is food that doesn’t go with beer, you shouldn’t eat it.
The saddest day of my life was when I found out that truffles (the fungus) and hops are a terrible pairing. It’s like when your wife and best friend argue about politics. You just want them to get along, but it’s not ever happening.
I believe someone makes a beer flavored ice cream
We had a dog that used to dig up truffles. To bad at the time we really had no idea what they were
