Denny's BVIP is Dangerous

Bottled this a few weeks ago and waited til Thanksgiving today to try it. Wow. This beer is smooth! Ours came in at just over 9% ABV.

I put two down before we had thanksgiving dinner and I was feeling pretty good!

That beer is almost too smooth! I can see that being dangerous!

Nice recipe, Denny. this one is going on the annual brew schedule!

Yeah, you don’t realize it until you try to stand up!

I’ll be using this at work for the rest of my life. Thanks!

Use this one http://wiki.homebrewersassociation.org/ … Porter…I posted it myself so I know it’s accurate. I spend a lot of time tracking down all the versions out there and trying to get them corrected. Might as well use the real thing.

Thanks, Denny!

Just tried to click on it, says “file not found”.

Is there an extract recipe for this beer?

Denny typo’d the link. Could be one of those BVIPs creeping up on him.

Try this…

Nope. You need to be able to do a partial mash with at least 6 lb. of grain.
