Has anyone tried adding a Pilsen Light DME (1 lb) to the Kama Citra IPA to up the ABV? How will that effect the recipe you think? And when would I put it in? At beginning of boil with the LME?
It would increase the ABV and would also change the bitterness ratio and the hops profile of the finished beer. You'd want to add more bittering hops at a minimum, unless you want to turn it into a higher abv pale ale.

Looks like it drops the IBU by 4 and raises the ABV by about 1. Seems like a fair trade.
