There is a rye beer I have seen at Binny’s (local beer store, possibly national?) that is a rye beer brewed with all of the spices used to make pastrami. I do not have the balls to try it, but the guy who works in the beer section and always has good suggestions for new things to try did. He said it was really weird at first & really did taste like a sandwich. He said once the flavor was in your mouth you were able to slowly but surely get the true beer flavor and it was pretty good. I doubt I will ever try it but I will try to get the name/brewery next time I am at the store.
I bet no one else at the competition turns their beer into a sandwich!
