Spring/Summer recipes

Not your typical wheat . WIPA you should try it

This is a recipe my good friend gave to me that he brews all spring and summer long. I brewed it about 5 times and it never disappoint 's
5 lbs German Vienna malt
4 lbs UK mild malt. Or briess mild malt
8 oz carabrown malt
8 oz crystal 90
Mash 152 degree
30 ibu Northern brewer 60 minutes
Yeast wlp 028 Edinburgh ale
Og 1.050
Fg 1.012
Abv 4.9
Ibu 30

Pick your hop pale ale.
This recipe is great for all sorts of reason first it’s simple only 2 malts 2row pale malt and crystal 40L. Second your hop choice and combination are pretty much unlimited. Although some might be better than others. Third for the new brewers here it give you a chance to try some hops single by them self and find out what you like and make a great tasting simple beer. When I brew this recipe I do a bigger batch and hop each with a different hop.
