There’s more than one way to catch a mouse, Sneezles61
@voodoo_donut I use conicals. I don’t push the beer to kegs as I think there’s very minimal exposure with O2.
Ah, gotcha. Gravity/ Bernoulli’s/Toricelli’s flow.
Here is my new method. Build a huge vacuum chamber. A robot will be needed to rack the beer since I will not be able to breath in there due to the lack of O2. Now considering the robot does not drink half the beer and be passed out on the vacuum chamber floor, circuits burned out, the transfer can be made without O2 present.
Fluid dynamics to rack your beer? t It’s homebrew gang. Don’t splash it then purge the keg with CO2.
Or you can get a more flexible racking tube
As fast as the beer goes here, I truly don’t think O2 would be a major problemo… Sneezles61
Sometimes I purge the keg if I’m going to age but usually I don’t .
I use a racking cane that I cut off the bend. So it goes auto siphon to a 2 foot piece of tubing to the sawed off racking cane.
Just bought a gas qd and used it for the first time…love it.
