I tend to be a bit of a flavor of the week kind of guy. I typically don’t try to duplicate a beer. I have become a big fan of old ales and barley wines. I have never made one back to back. Instead made an English style barley wine 2 years ago, a 11% American style barley wine, and another English style yesterday. I suppose it’s more of a vertical tasting given the 2 year difference in the English style barley wines.
My wife doesn’t drink much beer. I generally don’t want to drink 2 kegs or 4 cases of a given beer.
