About the best way to save $ on homebrew kits is to buy in bulk when stuff is on sale. I think my NB dark mild was about ~$34 when it was all said and done. I havenât bought BMC for a long time, but $17 a case isnât bad for beer.
In about 2000, I used to get a 30 pack of High Life for $9.99 and would usually get 2-3 at a time.
Donât forget your time. Most brewers here do this for fun so time spent is worth it. Brewing just for the possible savings is like work. Might be easier to get a part time job to buy fizzy yellow beer.
