5 brews only one drinkable

The only thing that can be said for the adage: " If the water tastes good…" Is that it is true that if the water tastes BAD, then the beer will taste bad. You can a more comprehensive dicussion on this at the Bru’n Water Facebook page.

The main problem I often see is that a brewer tries to use water that has too much alkalinity and that causes all kinds of problems. Even RO water requires treatment for some brews. You really have to learn to treat your water to make great beer across a wide range of styles.
