Hops are coming up!

Hop bines are also a little itchy and on some people can form red welts. Don’t tell your wife about that though let her find our for herself as they grow all over the railing.

Chinook and Cascade cones look quite different from each other. So even if the bines do intertwine, you’ll still be able to harvest them. Chinook are big fluffy cones with a curl to the tip of the bracheoles. Cascade are small compact cones. There is a real chance you will get a few ounces of each this year. They are aggressive growers and producers. My Chinook bines are growing almost a foot a day right now. Some are 7 feet tall already. Enjoy!
