Having fun harvesting yeast and had a question. If I make a beer with store bought yeast is the yeast I save after fermentation 1st generation or second ? Also I am harvesting yeast from commercial bottles is the yeast I am harvesting from there 1st or 2nd generation?
1 commercial bottles yeast there is no way to know
2 the yeast you buy, use, and save would be 2nd gen.
