Can anyone recommend a subsitute for Briess’ Extra Special Malt? I’ve heard of anything from Special B to Crystal 120.

P.S. - Its for a porter. No more than 3% of the grain bill.

Oddly enough, looking at the descriptors of each I think you could go either way. Sorry, not a definite answer.
