Wyeast Belgian Wit 3944

I have a pack of Belgian Wit that was warm on arrival, I requested a new one and had the same problem. I smacked a pack more than 24 hours ago, it is at the same temperature as other smack packs about 72 degrees in the house. The smack pack is usually so inflated that there is little give to the package when you squeeze it. The Wyeast Belgian Wit 3944 that I have now has inflated, but has more give to it then I am used to with other smack packs.

Is this OK to use even with it not being inflated all the way?

Yeah it’s fine. They don’t always puff up all the way. The point of the smack pack is to show you that the yeast is alive and kicking. If you got even some puffing, it’s alive. I’d still consider making a starter with it. Even just a small 1L starter, but you should be fine.
