I made my 1st Saision and when I transfered it to a secondary this white stuff formed on the surface and I’m wondering if this is something normal with this yeast strain or if it’s contaminated.
Has it gone away yet? If so it was likely just co2 coming out of solution from racking. If not, then you might have something bad going on, but I think that’s unlikely that it would only appear shortly after racking.
It showed up after a week. I was going to bottle it when I noticed that and it didn’t look right to me.
