I have a barley wine in a primary right now and i was entertaining the idea of making the secondary fermentation in a wood barrel. I’ve got tons questions. …is there a good book or article someone could recommend? Or maybe a link to a thread?
I have been using a wood barrel for secondary fermentation for a few years now. I used it on my bourbon barrel stout, bourbon barrel porter and an IPA. I think it works great.
