Wisconsin local honey

Hello everybody!!

I found a local SE WI honey producer that has pretty reasonable prices. If you bring your own containers the honey is only $2 lb and their containers are $12 - 5 lbs and they have smaller containers as well. Their site is http://www.indiansummerhoneyfarm.com/

Do they have different styles of honey? I plan on taking a trip to there farm later in the summer, to stock up on honey for mead and honey infused beer.

That’s a great price.

I looked on their website and it looks like they blend all their honey so it wouldn’t be any certain style of honey, but it looks like it would be good for brewing with; it’s a real good price. I’d get some if I were passing nearby.

I have been in touch with them, have not bought from them yet. In spring they have orange blossom available. Once that runs out, they only have wildflower.

We growing oranges in Wisconsin now? The orange blossom must not be local honey.

I’ve found apple blossom honey locally that is to die for IMHO.

Their orange blossom comes from Cali, if I recall correctly. So no, the OB they sell is not local… which is one of the reasons I have not purchased from them yet.
