Just fired up for a northeast DIPA version 2! 1.080 OG with 1318.
No brewing this W/Eā¦. Too much to do I will step up to the plate next W/E tho! I need to git another cream ale ready fer the 4TH celebrationā¦. Was contemplating the use of basmati rice to help a smaller brew git some characterā¦ Sneezles61
No brewing this weekend. Last Sunday brewed 10gals cream ale and 10gal of APA.
No brewing for me this weekend but I did go to a brewery block party last night out here in Eagle Colorado. Last week I brewed 10 gallons of Vienna lager and 10 gallons of IPA I left them to ferment while weāre away. No babysitter I hope they behave home alone.
Seems like a lot of people are not brewing this weekend. Me neither. Was going to bottle a saison this afternoon but WY 3711 dropped the beer another gravity point in the last 5 days. Might decide to bottle tomorrow. Very little CO2 production going on in the beer.
Some of the same brews keep coming up. I also have a Vienna lager (and a pre prohibition lager) planned eventually leading up to an Oktoberfest in a lager series. I would like to do a cream ale also if I can work it in.
monday brewing a gijora pepperd ale. friday did make yeast starter on the plate right now
OK I have to ask what the heck is that?
No brewing this weekendā¦but need to bottle 4 gallons of dubbel experiment and 5g of cider.
Yeah Iām still bottling here too not my favorite part of the brewing process. Looking forward to kegging at some point. Brew day is coming along nicely just added my bittering hops had to use chinook Instead of Columbus due to shortage at the LHBSstill looking for that dank bitter aspect however hopefully with the Chinook
Just ordered 4 five gallon kits this morning. Nothing this weekend but I should be busy for the next several!
Nope for me this weekend either. Iām preparing for an āOktoberfest in Juneā celebration at church tomorrow, featuring 18 different varieties of my beers. So today Iāve been parboiling bratwurst and making german potato salad. And cleaning 9 different coolers. The past month Iāve been making pretzels, 6-8 at a time. Have about 100 thawing.
Next weekend though, come hell or high water, Iāll brew up a batch of Waldo Lake Amber. My last batch before taking the rest of the summer off.
I brewed 16.5 gals today. I have 11 gal still in the kettle with 1qt of mango good belly that is a kettle sour. And another 5.5 in a my chest freezer waiting for the temp to come down so I can pitch a starter made from dregs of several bruery beers, stone enjoy after and white labs sour mix 1. Itās also getting a 1lL starter of wlp 550 Belgain Ale.
Sounds delicious!
No brewing for me, but I went to a beer fest today, bottled 3 gallons of grapefruit gose, and 5 gallons of east-coast style 2-hearted fermented with brett. Busy weekend so far!
Brewed 20 gallons of āsurpriseā Belgian ale Wednesday. Itās a surprise because I had a bag of specialty grain I bought last fall from my LHBS that I forgot about and have no idea what it was. Finished up a sack of Pilsner and a sack of 2 row also. About 55lbs in all. Itās Belgian only because Iām trying Danstar Abbaye yeast for the first time. After the fermenters got rolling, it sure smells like a Belgian ale.
Yesterday was beautiful and I did take some oatmeal stout out on the boat with us. Not enough to get in trouble though. Rainy today so it looks like a hang around the house day. Kind of wish I had a NB kit beer I could whip up on the kitchen stove.
Should be. Thanks for the tip on the good belly.
Just inoculated a batch of cider that refused to carb. Rehydrated a pack of EC 1118 and gave each bottle about 12 drops from an eye dropper. I felt like a real lab tech haha. Fingers crossed.
Cheers,
Ron

Brewed up Waldo Lake Amber yesterday, transferred and dry hopped Plnian Legacy and Off the Topper, and won first old man pentathlon competition of summer with my buddy. Golf Chipping, Baggo, Can Jam, Beer pong with paddles, and standard Beer pong. Was a great day!
