And a temp at 156* F. Maybe when done, check with yer spectrometer and then ramp up the temp to 168* F., the thinking is sugar becomes thinner and easier to rinse out (vorlauf) of the malt. Sneezles61

Morning yes did took a reading after 50min mash. A 1.044. I did end up. So proceded. With the normal session. Acourding. The recipy. It should be 1.062. I did end up with. 1.064 now we wait. It started to ferment.

Yer almost ready fer all grain! Need to grow barley and learn to malt? What a pain it would be to have to pay sooooo much fer shipping tho…:dizzy_face: Sneezles61
