Tomorow. Brewing session. Yeast starter ready. In the fridge. Gonna use one pound more grains. A 2 row malt. And a mini mash. During my extract brew. Mini mash a 50 to 60 min mash.

And a temp at 156* F. Maybe when done, check with yer spectrometer and then ramp up the temp to 168* F., the thinking is sugar becomes thinner and easier to rinse out (vorlauf) of the malt. Sneezles61

Morning yes did took a reading after 50min mash. A 1.044. I did end up. So proceded. With the normal session. Acourding. The recipy. It should be 1.062. I did end up with. 1.064 now we wait. It started to ferment.
